Concejo Municipal: proyecto para la producción de sanitizante
A través del Concejo de Santa Fe, el concejal Federico Fulini (PJ – Unidad Ciudadana) presentó un proyecto con el objetivo de solicitar al Departamento Ejecutivo Municipal que realice estudios de factibilidad técnica y económica para evaluar la posibilidad de llevar adelante la fabricación de sanitizante con base de alcohol para luchar contra el Coronavirus.
“Teniendo en cuenta la situación que venimos atravesando debido a la pandemia del Covid-19 y sobre todo entendiendo que, al no haber una vacuna desarrollada, la mejor manera de combatir el virus es con el distanciamiento social pero también cumpliendo con protocolos estrictos de higiene, presentamos un proyecto en el Concejo para solicitarle al Municipio que realice estudios de factibilidad técnica y económica a los fines de fabricar sanitizante“, explicó el concejal.
La importancia del sanitizante a base de alcohol contra el Coronavirus
El Covid-19 es un virus que está constituido por material genético recubierto por una membrana proteica, la cual es sensible al alcohol, es por este motivo que al entrar en contacto con esta sustancia la estructura del virus se desorganiza y pierde su capacidad de infectar.
En este mismo sentido, el alcohol grado farmacopea tiene una concentración cercana al 100%, sin embargo para estos casos es mayor el potencial de penetración del alcohol al 70% ya que posee la propiedad del agua que los ayuda a conseguir una mayor penetrabilidad, aumentando así la efectividad contra el virus.
“Poniendo en consideración la Emergencia Sanitaria vigente, creemos que podría ser de muchísima utilidad que se lleve adelante un estudio de factibilidad para la fabricación de sanitizante con la solución de alcohol 70% a partir del alcohol 96% en instalaciones de la Municipalidad de Santa Fe, siguiendo los lineamientos establecidos por la Farmacopea Argentina y la Organización Mundial de la Salud, para su posterior suministro a oficinas y dependencias municipales y para el uso de sus trabajadores, trabajadoras y contribuyentes en general”, concluyó Fulini.

Este test, que fue desarrollado en tiempo récord por científicos y científicas de nuestro país, permite la detección del genoma del virus mediante un método que no requiere equipamiento complejo y que simplifica mucho la técnica de diagnóstico. El mismo ya se encuentra aprobado por la ANMAT y está previsto que sea utilizado por el sector público en el marco de la estrategia del Ministerio de Salud para el diagnóstico del COVID-19. Los primeros 100 kits serán producidos durante los próximos 10 días.
“Este es un producto argentino, creado en laboratorios argentinos que demuestran que no dependemos de otros, que podemos hacerlo nosotros, por lo tanto es una prueba clara de soberanía. El desarrollo en tiempo récord deja en evidencia la tarea fundamental de nuestros científicos y científicas, para la construcción de un país más independiente, más avanzado y mejor preparado”, declaró Fulini.
El kit de diagnóstico rápido fue elaborado por el Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Productiva, el Conicet, la Agencia Nacional de Promoción de la Investigación, el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación y por trabajadores y trabajadoras del Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología Dr. César Milstein. “Este esfuerzo y esta capacidad que ha puesto en marcha la combinación virtuosa entre el sistema de salud y el sistema científico, trabajando en forma cooperativa, debe significar un orgullo y un ejemplo para todos y todas los argentinos”, concluyó el concejal.
