Desarmaron el hospital de campaña frente al Cullen
Este jueves a la mañana comenzaron los trabajos de desarme del hospital modular montado en el Liceo Militar a fines de abril para ampliar la capacidad de internación en el Cullen, en medio de la segunda ola de covid.
Este jueves, alrededor de las 8, comenzaron los trabajos para desarmar el hospital de campaña ubicado en el predio del Liceo Militar General Manuel Belgrano, montado a fines de abril para ampliar la capacidad de atención y el número de camas del Cullen ante la altísima demanda sanitaria que generó la segunda ola de covid. El dispositivo es uno de los tres donados por Estados Unidos a la Argentina para hacer frente a la pandemia.

Si bien la carpa comenzó a armarse el 27 de abril, día que llegaron los módulos a la ciudad, no fue sino hasta mediados de mayo que se puso en funcionamiento para recibir a los pacientes no covid del hospital Cullen, que había alcanzado el 98% de ocupación de camas críticas en su edificio.
La Municipalidad invirtió millones para el funcionamiento del hospital de campaña
El hospital militar móvil estaba conformado por cuatro carpas de internación conectadas por un distribuidor ubicado en el medio, y fueron necesarias 30 personas para su armado. Contenía 40 camas (camillas rodantes) y todas las carpas poseían iluminación, equipo de aire acondicionado y conexión de lavabos con acceso a agua potable, para poder mantener la higiene tanto del personal de salud como de los pacientes. Además, contaba también con una carpa auxiliar utilizada como office de enfermería, depósito o cualquier otro uso que demande la atención médica, y dos generadores de energía eléctrica.

Hoy, con el sistema de salud descomprimido por la merma de los casos y la buena situación epidemiológica en la ciudad de Santa Fe, el director del Cullen, Juan Pablo Poletti, dio la orden de que se desarme el hospital modular propiedad de las Fuerzas Armadas, que será llevado nuevamente a Buenos Aires.
