Doping positivo para el Chelito Delgado que fue suspendido
El club fue notificado ayer que el delantero recibirá un año de suspensión por el dóping positivo. Apelará el fallo.
César Delgado será sancionado por la Conmebol por un año a raíz del control antidóping positivo que tuvo en Copa Libertadores, en el partido frente a River en Montevideo. Central ayer mismo fue notificado por parte de la AFA, pero la comisión directiva esperará reunirse hoy para determinar los pasos a seguir, aunque es un hecho que el club apelará la sanción. Desde el entorno del jugador también dejaron entrever que habrá una apelación y hasta mostraron cierto optimismo en que la pena finalmente será más leve. Es más, uno de los principales encargados de enfrentar la situación es el representante del Chelito, Daniel Luzzi, quien se apoyará en el departamento Legales del club.
La noticia del dóping positivo llegó a Central el pasado 27 de mayo. Allí se dio cuenta de que el jugador canalla había ingerido una droga prohibida (betametasona), la que, según confiaron en su momento había sido debidamente informada en la planilla. La aplicación de ese antiinflamatorio fue por un cuadro de lumbociatalgia aguda, que le impedía al Chelo moverse con normalidad.
Según le confiaron a Ovación fuentes allegadas a la Conmebol es que el informe existió, pero que hay diferencia entre si la aplicación es por infiltración o intramuscular, que fue la forma en la que se dio y de la que en aquel momento todos estuvieron de acuerdo en realizarla.
Tras aquella notificación Central elevó un informe de descargo, en el que se aclaró que se le había aplicado una inyección intramuscular con el antiinflamatorio B12. A partir de allí confiaron que hasta el propio jugador siguió de cerca el tema, incluso con abogados propios.
Hubo otros casos de dóping positivos que se dieron en ese mismo tiempo. Uno de ellos fue el de Sebastián Blanco, jugador de San Lorenzo, en el partido frente a Gremio, también por Copa Libertadores, pero en allí no hubo sanción, al menos hasta ahora no se conoció. También dieron positivos de la misma droga otros futbolistas, aunque en el plano local. Son los casos de Javier Toledo (San Martín de San Juan), quien recibió dos meses de suspensión, Daniel González (San Martín de San Juan) y Matías Sánchez (Temperley).
Es por estos casos que en Central consideraron como “desmedido”, “poco entendible” y “demasiado duro” el fallo por parte de la Conmebol. Justamente ayer la casa madre del fútbol sudamericano informó a la AFA sobre el fallo de la comisión antidopaje y de allí partió la notificación hacia Central.
De ahora en más habrá un camino legal por recorrer. La apelación a la sanción será el primer paso. La intención será basarse especialmente en que la aplicación de ese antiinflamatorio había sido informado en su debido momento, incluso la forma (intramuscular) en que había sido suministrado.
Entre la dirigencia y Luzzi acordaron que el tema será seguido de cerca por parte del representante del Chelito y hay confianza en que la pena pueda ser reducida.
