El Concejo Municipal reduce la utilización del papel
Este jueves se aprobó un Decreto que obliga a eliminar este soporte en todas las áreas de la institución, siempre que pueda ser prescindible.
El Concejo Municipal comenzará a reducir paulatinamente la utilización del papel en cada una de sus dependencias. Así quedó establecido por un Decreto aprobado este jueves por todos los ediles, con el objetivo de contribuir a la protección del medio ambiente. El proyecto impulsado por Mariano Cejas (FPCyS – UCR), propone reemplazar al soporte por tecnología y herramientas digitales adecuadas que permitan una mejor comunicación y evaluación del desempeño legislativo del cuerpo. También se procederá al reciclado y reutilización del papel sobrante para reducir al mínimo su manejo.
“La digitalización nos permite ahorrar muchísimo papel. Obviamente que no lograremos eliminarlo por completo, pero sí que sólo sea utilizado para casos indispensables. Necesitamos tener conciencia de que los recursos no son infinitos y de que si podemos aportar nuestro granito de arena para cuidar el medio ambiente, tenemos que hacerlo. En muchos países del mundo se está avanzando hacia la digitalización de los expedientes y la información. Por eso creemos que también tenemos que dar ese paso en el Concejo y en Santa Fe”, sostuvo el autor del proyecto.
Al mismo tiempo, Cejas opinó que “esta decisión tiene que servir como ejemplo para el resto de la instituciones de la ciudad. A veces no nos damos cuenta, pero con pequeñas acciones colaboramos para una mejor calidad de vida de todos”.
