Fin de semana récord para el miniturismo
Parece no importar que el verano está a la vuelta de la esquina y que con él llegan también las vacaciones: un aluvión de gente aprovechó el fin de semana largo para colmar los principales lugares turísticos del país, donde se movilizan más de 750 mil personas, informó este domingo la Cámara Argentina de Turismo (CAT).
Las calles de Rosario presentan un movimiento acorde al resto del Litoral, uno de los destinos favoritos por la inactividad de sábado y domingo, prolongada el lunes por el feriado del Día de la Soberanía Nacional.
"Un éxito se registra en los principales destinos turísticos del país, especialmente en la Costa Atlántica, el Litoral y otros destinos no tradicionales en esta época del año, como Tandil, La Falda y San Nicolás", dijo la entidad.
Informó que en el Litoral la ocupación es del 90 por ciento, mientras que en la Costa Atlántica llega al 80 por ciento, al igual que San Nicolás y La Falda.
Destacó asimismo que, tras la elección de las Cataratas de Iguazú como una de las Nuevas Siete Maravillas Naturales, Puerto Iguazú se consolida como un destino de fin de semana largo y ya supera su récord histórico de visitantes.
La CAT calculó que en este fin de semana largo hayan llegado al conjunto de los destinos nacionales un total de 757.000 turistas, 4% más que en 2010, año en que se registraron más de 728.000 llegadas.
Oscar Ghezzi, presidente de la CAT evaluó que “cada fin de semana largo es una fiesta para todo el país".
"El turismo interno sigue creciendo y se consolida como una fuente de ingresos para las economías regionales, que trabajan cada día más para brindar a los visitantes propuestas accesibles para todos los bolsillos en todos los rubros: hotelería, gastronomía, servicios y actividades recreativas”, dijo el dirigente.
Sumando los fines de semana largos de todo el año de todos los destinos en el país, hubo hasta el momento 5,1 millones de arribos, 31,1% más que en 2010.
El titular de la CAT destacó además que “los turistas están arribando a todos los destinos –por vía terrestre o aérea- con total normalidad".
"La conectividad entre los distintos puntos del país es fundamental para que el turismo derrame sus beneficios económicos y sociales a todos los rincones de la Argentina”, subrayó.
El presidente de la CAT destacó que el sector público "facilita la promoción y la difusión de los destinos, fomentando el movimiento turístico interno, prioritario para la economía de todo el país, y apelando al sentimiento de pertenencia del turista nacional, relevante a raíz de un dato contundente: el 99,3% de los turistas argentinos volvería a elegir nuestro país para vacacionar", enfatizó.
Vuelven a prohibir camiones
Al igual que ocurrió al comienzo del fin de semana largo, la Dirección Nacional de Vialidad (DNV) y la Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial (ANSV) restringirán nuevamente la circulación de camiones de más de 3.500 Kg en rutas nacionales este lunes por la tarde, en el regreso a casa.
Con el objetivo de facilitar el desplazamiento vehicular y evitar siniestros de tránsito, el feriado se aplicará la medida desde las 18 hasta la medianoche.
