Fotografías para reflexionar sobre la No Violencia contra la Mujer
En el marco del Día Internacional de la No Violencia Contra la Mujer, se presentará la primera muestra del Taller de Fotografía que funciona en la Casa de la Joven de Santa Fe. Será este viernes, a las 18, en la explanada del Teatro Municipal 1º de Mayo (San Martín 2020). La exposición gira en torno al concepto “Violencia Familiar” y es el resultado del trabajo realizado durante todo el año por las adolescentes que participan de este espacio artístico-formativo coordinado por Mónica Alarcón.
El taller surgió a partir de la obtención del Primer Premio en el Concurso de Afiches 2010 otorgado por Consejo Municipal de la Mujer y el Área Mujer de la Subsecretaría de Educación del Gobierno de la Ciudad.
La Casa de la Joven es un hogar de puertas abiertas que aloja adolescentes mujeres víctimas de violencia familiar (maltrato físico y emocional, abuso sexual infantil) dependiente de la Dirección Provincial de Promoción de los Derechos de la Niñez, adolescencia y Familia.
No violencia
El 25 de noviembre fue declarado Día Internacional de la No Violencia Contra la Mujer, en el Primer Encuentro Feminista de Latinoamérica y del Caribe celebrado en Bogotá, Colombia, en julio de 1981.
Se eligió esa fecha para recordar el violento asesinato de las hermanas Mirabal (Patria, Minerva y María Teresa), tres activistas políticas asesinadas en 1960 en manos de la Policía secreta del dictador Rafael Trujillo en la República Dominicana.
