Fuerte caída del turismo en Mar del Plata en la primera quincena
El Emtur confirmó que la ciudad recibió 381.092 visitantes en las primeras dos semanas de enero. En el mismo período del año pasado hubo 642.128. El promedio de estadía fue de siete noches.
Los números oficiales ratificaron el balance que habían hecho los operadores turísticos de la primera quincena: Mar del Plata recibió un 40% menos de visitantes que en el mismo período del año pasado.
El dato fue confirmado oficialmente por el Ente Municipal de Turismo. En concreto, la ciudad albergó a 381.092 turistas durante la primera quincena de enero cuando en el mismo periodo del 2020 lo habían hecho 642.128. De esta manera, este año arribaron 261.036 visitantes menos.
El presidente del Ente Municipal de Turismo, Federico Scremin, señaló que “hay que tener en cuenta que los turistas que eligieron la ciudad tuvieron un promedio de 7 días de pernoctación”. En lo que refiere al transporte público, en la primera quincena de enero fueron contabilizados 1.425, por lo cual el promedio fue de 95 servicios diarios. Asimismo, 51 vuelos arribaron al aeropuerto.“En lo que respecta al ferrocarril, la cantidad de servicios fue de dos. Cabe aclarar que se anunció una tercera frecuencia a partir de este lunes y eso va a ser muy bueno para Mar del Plata”, completó.
Scremin manifestó que “estos son números provisorios” y que “es difícil poder comparar esta temporada con cualquier otra ya que estamos atravesando un verano en medio de la pandemia”. “Continuamos trabajando fuertemente en la reactivación y en la recuperación del empleo”, sostuvo.
