Asimismo, desde AFP confirmaron que el edificio, ubicado a pocos metros de Prado, la avenida principal del centro de La Habana, estaba en reparación. Aunque todavía no lanzaron ninguna hipótesis, se cree que en medio de los arreglos se habría provocado la explosión.
