Para De Olazábal, “hay que incrementar el número de fiscales”
Es lo que afirmó Julio De Olazábal, jefe de fiscales en diálogo con LT10. La provincia se encuentra por debajo de la cantidad establecida por la ley y en ese sentido agregó: “Se considera que se necesitan entre 8 y 9 fiscales cada 100 mil habitantes. En Santa Fe, tenemos 3,5 fiscales cada 100 mil habitantes”.
Julio De Olazábal, jefe de los fiscales de la provincia, dialogó con LT10 y afirmó que “internacionalmente, se considera que se necesitan entre 8 y 9 fiscales cada 100 mil habitantes. En Santa Fe, tenemos 3,5 fiscales cada 100 mil habitantes. Es inevitable avanzar en la creación de fiscalías si se quiere mejorar las respuestas de las mismas. Aún así, destacó que “se aumentó el número de condenas en relación a las que emitía el viejo sistema”.
Por otra parte, De Olazábal agregó que “también necesitamos equipos de trabajo para que ayuden a los fiscales a investigar y a llevar las causas. Hoy, esto prácticamente no existe. En la provincia, cada fiscal tiene un sólo empleado asignado. Hay que revertir esta situación”, afirmó.
Por último, el jefe de los fiscales de la provincia resaltó la labor del gobernador y afirmó que “asumió el compromiso de ocuparse de impulsar la policía judicial, norma que se aprobó el año pasado”.
