La familia de Blotta le iniciará acciones legales al municipio
El entorno del escultor rosarino las impulsará por el robo de dos obras que estaban en exhibición en la Biblioteca Argentina.
La familia del escultor rosarino, Erminio Blotta iniciará acciones legales contra el municipio por el robo de las dos obras que estaban exhibidas en la Biblioteca Argentina. Así lo aseguró ayer el nieto del reconocido artista, Luis Blotta, quien además, teniendo en cuenta este trance, comentó que desde ese entorno suspendieron un proceso de donación de otras tres obras que estaba en marcha.
Según revelan representantes de la familia, la relación con la Municipalidad no es buena debido a problemas de comunicación en relación al robo de estas piezas, pequeñas, pero muy valiosas. Los parientes de Blotta entienden que no fueron anoticiados debidamente cuando ocurrió el confuso hecho, y que tampoco cuentan con la información necesaria de las acciones investigativas y formales que se están llevando a cabo.
Creen que han sido damnificados y por eso determinaron que impulsarán una acción judicial.
Desde el núcleo familiar de Blotta confiaron que nunca les avisaron del robo, que sucedió el 16 de julio, y que recién tomaron conocimiento la semana pasada a través de la prensa. Eso generó una situación de gran incomodidad en la familia. Además, el malestar se multiplicó cuando se enteraron que tampoco le habían dado intervención oportunamente a Interpol.
Teniendo en cuenta este tenso panorama, Luis Blotta contó que la familia estaba dispuesta a donar cuatro obras (ya entregaron la de Belgrano a principios de agosto), pero que luego del robo decidieron suspender ese proceso en serie.
En este momento, ya con muchos días de demora, según reclama la familia del escultor, las acciones están en manos de Interpol, también interviene la policía federal, un fiscal de la justicia provincial, y existe un sumario administrativo dentro del ámbito de la Municipalidad.
Las piezas son muy pequeñas, tienen un alto valor económico, y el temor de la familia es que ya se encuentren fuera del país.
Las obras del escultor autodidacta rosarino de origen calabrés, Erminio Blotta, fueron robadas de la Biblioteca Argentina. Son dos grabados en bronce que formaban parte de una muestra homenaje al artista fallecido en 1976, y declarado artista distinguido post-mortem de la ciudad en 2006.
Esa exhibición había sido inaugurada a mediados de mayo, al conmemorarse 40 años de su muerte.
Las obras desaparecidas fueron “El Tólstoi”, que durante más de un siglo estuvo en la Biblioteca Argentina; y “Carmen y Herminio”, una escena de dos personas en bajorrelieve que pertenecía a la familia.
