Mike Tyson vuelve al ring
El múltiple campeón de los pesos pesados se enfrentará a Roy Jones Jr. en septiembre.
Mike Tyson fue uno de los boxeadores más destacados en la historia, además de ser uno de los más mediáticos. Actualmente tiene 54 años y lleva 15 años retirado, pero hace unos meses que viene mostrando en sus redes que se está poniendo en forma para subirse nuevamente a un cuadrilátero, y fue justamente en su cuenta de Twitter que hizo el anuncio oficial.
El combate tendrá lugar el 12 de septiembre de este 2020 en Carson, California. Este duelo de exhibición se disputará a 8 rounds y sin cabezal.
Roy Jones Jr -también estadounidense- será el rival. Otro “veterano”, ya que tiene 51, pero que sigue en actividad y posee un récord personal de 69 victorias y 6 derrotas (75 combates en total). De todos modos, la última pelea de Roy fue en 2018, cuando venció a Scott Sigmon por decisión unánime.
Por el lado de Mike, se retiró en 2005 con una marca de 50 peleas ganadas (44 por ko), 6 perdidos, y 2 anuladas en 58 duelos.
