Ola polar azota a Tierra del Fuego

El frío extremo que afecta en estos días la provincia de Tierra del Fuego produce fenómenos visualmente impactantes, como los que se observaron esta mañana en Río Grande .
En esa ciudad fueguina, donde la temperatura a las 8 de la mañana era de 14,5 grados bajo cero , fue posible ver un auto completamente congelado, y lo mismo sucedió con olas marinas que llegaban a la costa.

En el caso del vehículo, al parecer había pasado la noche a la intemperie y no resistió el frío polar de la ciudad. Amaneció casi por completo cubierto de hielo y nieve, como lo acredita una fotografía subida por el medio Cadena 3.

Por otro lado, Guillermo Dadario , un vecino de la ciudad subió a su cuenta de Facebook otra imagen que sorprende por su carácter de inusual belleza. Se trata del mar, cuyas olas se vuelven prácticamente hielo al llegar a la costa.
Como consecuencia de ello, a lo largo de la arena de la playa y al límite del mar quedó una blanca y compacta línea de espuma congelada.
