Quién era el financista que apareció muerto en Puerto Madero
Un empresario y financista de 34 años fue hallado sin vida e investigan si se trató de un suicidio o un homicidio.
Se trata de Exequiel Alcides Mercado Zuliani, quien apareció ahoraco en el baño de su departamento de Puerto Madero.
El hombre era un operador bursátil oriundo de Chilecito, provincia de La Rioja. Al momento se su muerte, el empresario se encontraba cenando junto a un amigo en su vivienda, cuando decidió ir al baño. Se demoró demasiado tiempo en salir, por lo que la otra persona fue a ver cómo se encontraba y lo encontró ahorcado en la ducha.
Si bien la causa fue caratulada como “averiguación de homicidio”, la principal hipótesis es la del suicidio, según informaron fuentes policiales.
En las redes sociales se puede observar que el financista es acusado de participar en importantes estafas particulares junto a su padre, César Mercado, y su madre, Patricia Zuliani.
De acuerdo al testimonio que aportaron a los investigadores algunos familiares, amigos y conocidos, Zuliani estaba apremiado por deudas que había asumido en relación a su trabajo como financista, lo que lo tenía nervioso y preocupado.
En 2018, un empresario le reclamó 580.000 pesos y cerca de 200.000 en intereses, tal como consta en un expediente del Juzgado N°5, del fuero comercial, más una orden para un embargo preventivo.
Por otra parte, contaba con pedidos de información sobre su relación con financieras y bancos internacionales. Por ejemplo, en 2019 se libró uno oficio a JP Morgan, que certificó Mercado Zuliani no era cliente de esa financiera.
En 2017 tuvo otra demanda por cobro ejecutivo dos años antes por parte de un importante empresario. En julio de 2016, la Justicia, a través de un particular damnificado, le reclamó el pago de 2.546.000 pesos más intereses, su abogado desconoció la deuda que fue reclamada hasta agosto de 2020.
Según su perfil de LinkedIn, estudió en la Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) entre 2005 y 2012, y trabajó en la financiera FA, Raymond James Argentina SBSA entre febrero de 2008 y septiembre de 2011, y en FA INTL Advice desde octubre de 2011 hasta la actualidad.
Desde su perfil de Twitter se presentaba como “financial advisor” (asesor financiero) y posteaba noticias del mercado financiero.
