Rodolfo Saglimbeni dirigirá la Sinfónica de Rosario
La Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Rosario, dependiente del Ministerio de Innovación y Cultura, se presentará el jueves 1° de septiembre a las 21 en el Teatro El Círculo (Laprida 1223, Rosario).
En esta oportunidad, la Sinfónica deleitará al público de la mano del Mtro. Rodolfo Saglimbeni en la dirección y como solista invitado el violinista Pablo Saraví.

Rodolfo Saglimbeni
Desde su regreso a su nativa Venezuela en 1987, Rodolfo Saglimbeni se ha convertido en uno de los directores de orquesta más solicitados del país y de la región suramericana. Saglimbeni estudió música en Venezuela y en la Real Academia de Música de Londres, obteniendo su grado con Honores, el Diploma de Director de Orquesta y numerosos premios. Fue alumno del Maestro Franco Ferrara en la Academia Santa Cecilia de Roma en 1981.
Fue primer finalista en el Concurso Internacional de Directores de Orquesta de Besancon (Francia), siendo en la edición de 1985, el director más joven de la competencia. Ha sido Director Asociado de la Sinfonietta de Caracas y de la Sinfónica Venezuela, Director Artístico Fundador de la Sinfónica Gran Mariscal Ayacucho y Director Musical del Teatro Teresa Carreño. Ha sido director invitado de las Orquestas de Besancon, Radio/Televisión de Luxemburgo, Orquesta Haydn de Londres, de las Orquestas y Ensambles de la Real Academia de Música, del Coro Philarmonia y de orquestas sinfónicas nacionales y provinciales de España, Italia, Portugal, Rumania, USA, Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Argentina, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Chile y Argentina.
Su amplia experiencia en los campos de la docencia, dirección de orquesta y entrenamiento orquestal, lo ha llevado a promover importantes eventos en Europa y Latino América para el desarrollo y entrenamiento de orquestas. Desde 1990, es contratado como tutor en el curso de verano de Canford (Inglaterra) y en 2013 asume la dirección de la Facultad “George Hurst” de la Sherborne Summer School of Music en Inglaterra. Es profesor de dirección de orquesta de la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes UNEARTES, tutor de Dirección de Orquesta en Fundamusical “Simón Bolívar” y de la Escuela de Música del Mozarteum de Caracas.
En 1997 es seleccionado para la Beca de las Américas, patrocinada por el Kennedy Center de Washington DC. En 1989, fue galardonado con el premio Mejor Director del Año. Luego en 1999, fue ganador del Premio Director de las Américas, en Santiago de Chile; ese mismo año ganó en Venezuela, el Premio Nacional del Artista.
Hacia finales de 1999, fue nombrado Director Musical de la Fundación Teatro Teresa Carreño de Caracas En 2003 es elegido como Director Artístico de la Orquesta Sinfónica Municipal de Caracas con quienes ha desarrollado por más de una década uno de los más importantes proyectos artístico-musicales. En 2015 es designado por elección, Director Artístico de la Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, en Mendoza, Argentina, para desarrollar un novedoso proyecto artístico el cual hermana a su actividad en Caracas con la OSMC.
Ha sido galardonado con la Orden “Waraira Repano” y la Orden “José Félix Ribas” y con el título honorario ARAM por la Real Academia de Música de Londres. Hacia finales de 2014 fue nombrado por el Gobierno de la República de Italia como “Caballero de la Orden de la Estrella de Italia –Cavaliere – Ordine della Stella d´Italia”, reconocimiento que confiere el estado italiano por los logros adquiridos en el campo de las ciencias, las letras y las artes.
Pablo Saraví
A Pablo Saraví se le ha otorgado dos veces consecutivas, en 1999 y en 2009, el Premio Konex (en 2009 el Konex de Platino) por ser “una de las personalidades más relevantes de la música clásica en la Argentina”.
Estudió violín con los profesores Miguel Puebla, Szymsia Bajour, Alberto Lysy y Yehudi Menuhin.
Ha ganado el Primer Premio en todos los concursos argentinos de su especialidad, entre ellos el Concurso Argentino de Música, que incluyó el Premio OEA-CIDEM. Entre 1987 y 1990 estudió en Suiza y allí fue elegido por Yehudi Menuhin como Profesor Asistente en su Academia Internacional de ese país.
Ha tocado música de cámara con artistas como Alberto Lysy, Yehudi Menuhin, Martha Argerich, Bruno Gelber, Nikita Magaloff, Cho-Liang Lin, Marcela Roggeri, Avi Avital, Víctor Torres, Soledad de la Rosa y muchos otros.
Saraví es Primer Violín y miembro fundador de la Orquesta Mundial por la Paz (dirigida inicialmente por Sir Georg Solti y que continúa actualmente Valery Gergiev). Con esta orquesta, Saraví se ha presentado en los más importantes escenarios de Londres (Royal Albert Hall), Nueva York (Carnegie Hall), Berlín (Philarmonie Hall), San Petersburgo (Teatro Mariinsky), Moscú (Gran Sala del Conservatorio), Beijing (Nuevo Auditorio de la Ciudad Prohibida), Jerusalén (Centro Internacional) y muchos otros de diversos países.
Durante más de una década, ha actuado como Director/Solista de la Camerata Bariloche. Es además Concertino de la Academia Bach de Buenos Aires y también Concertino de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires.
Saraví fundó en 2009 el Cuarteto Petrus. Este último grupo recibió el Premio Francavilla di Sicilia en 2012 por su CD “Tango Ballet” y en 2014 el Primer premio de la Asociación de Críticos de la Argentina. Ha grabado, además, dos CD junto a la pianista Alicia Belleville, titulados Llanuras” y “Romanticismos Olvidados”., entre otros trabajos.
Pablo Saraví es también un reconocido especialista en luthería (instrumentos de arco) y ha escrito un libro titulado “Italian Violin Making in Argentina” publicado en Cremona, Italia, en 2002. En 2015 y en 2015 han sido editados sus dos libros (con sendos CD) titulados “Un Guarnerius en Buenos Aires” y “Obras Maestras de la Luthería Italiana”. Estos trabajos están dedicados a los instrumentos de la Colección Isaac Fernández Blanco.
Además, es miembro de la Violin Society of America, institución para la que presentó conferencias en los EEUU (2009 y 2014). En septiembre de 2016, dará una conferencia en el Museo del Violín de Cremona (Italia) como parte de los festejos por los 300 años del violín más célebre nacido allí, el Stradivarius 1716 “Mesías”.
