Rusia utilizó por primera vez una base en Irán y atacó a Siria
Bombarderos rusos Tupolev y Sukhoi usaron este martes por primera vez una base aérea en Irán para atacar, apoyados por cazas Su-30SM y Su-35S, objetivos en Siria.
“El 16 de agosto de 2016, los bombarderos de largo alcance Tu-22M3 y los de primera línea Su-34 despegaron con carga completa de bombas desde la base aérea de Hamadán, en la República Islámica de Irán, para atacar en grupo los objetivos de grupos terroristas Daesh (Estado Islámico) y Frente al Nustra (poscritos en Rusia y otros países) en las provincias de Alepo, Deir Ezzor e Idlib”, confirmó el Ministerio ruso de Defensa en un comunicado, según confirmó Sputnik Mundo.
El ataque permitió destruir cinco depósitos importantes de armas, municiones y combustible, campamentos cerca de Saraqib, Al Bab, Alepo y Deir Ezzor, tres puntos de mando cerca de Al Jafra y Deir Ezzor, así como un gran número de combatientes, según Moscú.
