Se construyó una estufa con ladrillos de adobe
En el marco de las políticas de uso eficiente de la energía que lleva adelante la Municipalidad de Rosario, la Secretaría de Ambiente y Espacio Público organizó un taller de dos encuentros para construir una estufa Sara.
En la primera clase, que se llevó a cabo en el mes de abril, se fabricaron los ladrillos de adobe que posteriormente se iban a utilizar para concretar la construcción de esta novedosa alternativa de calefacción.
En la clase número dos, que tuvo lugar el sábado 6 de agosto en el Centro de Convivencia Barrial Mburucuyá, ubicado en Burucuyá 951 bis, del distrito Noroeste, se dio forma a la estufa y se compartieron conceptos sobre el uso del fuego.
Las estufas Sara son un desarrollo de investigación de estudiantes de Arquitectura, con sede en la Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, dirigido por un investigador del CONICET y un equipo del Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI), compuesto por técnicos y expertos de los centros de Energía y Tecnologías Sustentables.
Este tipo de estufas se construyen con ladrillos de adobe y refractarios, con una cámara de combustión primaria y una secundaria donde se queman los gases, y resulta en un alto aprovechamiento de la leña en comparación con otros tipos de estufa.
Los talleres de capacitación, son una manera de acercarse a los vecinos y compartir herramientas que promuevan el uso de energías limpias y hábitos sustentables que tienen como último fin, el ahorro energético en los hogares.
