Se realizó el Consejo Regional de Seguridad Vial para la Región 3
La Agencia Provincial de Seguridad Vial (APSV), dependiente del Ministerio de Seguridad, realizó este miércoles el segundo encuentro del Consejo Regional de Seguridad Vial en la ciudad de Recreo, con una importante asistencia de representantes de distintas áreas de gobierno y de la sociedad civil de la Región 3 Nodo Santa Fe.
En el encuentro -durante el cual se debatieron políticas públicas relacionadas con la seguridad vial- estuvieron presentes los representantes de la APSV, el subsecretario de Políticas Preventivas, Fernando Peverengo; y los directores de Coordinación Interjurisdiccional, Gustavo Sella, de Formación y Divulgación, Sebastián Kelman, de Sistemas Técnicos y Administrativos, Hernán Matich, y del Observatorio Vial, Mariano Bonino.
Al respecto, Peverengo explicó que “este tipo de espacios nos permite consensuar la implementación de políticas públicas vinculadas a la seguridad vial con una visión regional integradora, facilitando la coordinación de acciones estratégicas en la materia”.
Entre los temas tratados, se presentó el programa de Innovación y Articulación en Seguridad Vial (Piasev) y las herramientas que la APSV ofrece a las localidades y ONG. También se realizó un taller de fortalecimiento de proyectos en el cual se conformaron mesas de trabajo, manteniendo los ejes temáticos implementados en la última sesión del Consejo Provincial de Seguridad Vial de: Fiscalización del tránsito y juzgamiento; Recolección y procesamiento de datos; y Educación, capacitación y concientización.
Estadísticas 2015
Al igual que en el Consejo Regional realizado ya en Rafaela, el Observatorio Vial de la APSV presentó las estadísticas sobre siniestros con víctimas fatales y hechos viales con lesionados recolectadas durante el año 2015 a partir de datos provistos por distintos organismos oficiales de la provincia y cargados en el sistema de hechos tránsito de la provincia.
Tal como se informó entonces, “uno de los datos más importantes que resulta del análisis estadístico es que la moto aparece como el tipo de vehículo más involucrado en siniestros con víctimas fatales, ya que de un total de 826 vehículos, 32,8 % son ciclomotores y 28,3 % autos, lo que evidencia que debemos seguir apostando fuertemente en prevención y el control de este segmento para salvar vidas”, expresó Bonino.
De los datos estadísticos obtenidos cabe destacar, además, que un 57,8 % de los siniestros con víctimas fatales corresponden a colisiones y, de los 590 vehículos involucrados, 209 son motos o ciclomotores y 173 autos, lo que representa un 35,5 % y un 29,3 % respectivamente.
En relación con la utilización de los sistemas de seguridad, el cinturón se usaba en un 84,1 % y el casco en el 58 % de los casos.
