Se reunió el Consejo Federal de Previsión Social
Los días miércoles y jueves pasado se realizaron en la ciudad de Santa Fe las “II Jornadas Plenarias para autoridades políticas y técnicas” de los organismos de previsión social miembros del Consejo Federal de Previsión Social (Cofepres).
Durante el encuentro se trataron temas vinculados a los sistemas previsionales provinciales, la ley de reparación histórica y su decreto reglamentario, los beneficios de pensión en las cajas provinciales y su relación con el nuevo Código Civil, y la enseñanza de la seguridad social en las escuelas secundarias y de nivel superior, entre otros.
La apertura del encuentro estuvo a cargo del ministro de Trabajo y Seguridad Social, Julio Genesini, quien agradeció la presencia de todas las instituciones y afirmó que “nuestra provincia tiene un compromiso muy importante con el sector de los jubilados porque uno de los cinco puntos centrales de nuestra agenda para el trabajo decente es precisamente la jerarquización y la defensa de los derechos de los jubilados”.
“De este encuentro seguramente todos vamos a salir enriquecidos. No tenemos ninguna duda de que de este evento van a surgir conclusiones que van a fortalecer a la defensa de los derechos de los jubilados y la sustentabilidad de nuestra cajas en beneficio de todo el sector pasivo”, agregó Genesini.
Por su parte, la directora de la Caja de Jubilaciones y Pensiones, Alicia Berzero, destacó que “este encuentro se realiza en el marco de la celebración de los 110 años de la Caja de Jubilaciones de la provincia de Santa Fe y, en ese marco, queremos expresar que estamos muy orgullosos de haber mantenido nuestra Caja dentro de la esfera provincial”.
Finalmente, el presidente del Cofepres, Daniel Elías, manifestó que “esta actividad es bien federal y la idea es aprovecharla al máximo para contar las experiencias que estamos transitando desde cada uno de los estados provinciales”.
Además, agregó que “este es el año de la seguridad y de la previsión social, porque es una de las políticas públicas que más debate y mayor movilización legislativa está teniendo, no solo en el orden nacional sino también en las provincias, así que es un extraordinario momento para compartir experiencias, opinar, disentir y decir lo que tenemos que decir desde la silla que ocupamos, porque de eso se trata la riqueza de este Consejo Federal de Previsión Social”.

Del acto participó, además, el subsecretario de Seguridad Social, Fabián Medizza. En las jornadas, en tanto, tomaron parte representantes de los organismos previsionales provinciales y municipales de Tierra del Fuego, Misiones, Formosa, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Córdoba, Buenos Aires, Neuquén, La Pampa, Chaco, Chubut y Santa Fe.
El Consejo Federal de Previsión Social fue creado por ley en septiembre de 1990. Desde entonces, nuclea a las instituciones involucradas con la previsión social que voluntariamente y en uso de su autonomía se adhirieron a él como organismo coordinador de políticas previsionales.
