Rápido accionar: policías trasladaron de urgencia a un menor que convulsionaba
Ante la demora de la llegada de una ambulancia, la oportuna intervención de dos mujeres policías permitió asistir a tiempo a un menor de 2 años que se encontraba con fuertes convulsiones.
La secuencia se inició a media tarde del miércoles en barrio Coronel Dorrego, más precisamente en momentos que las oficiales Andrea García y Ailén Díaz Leiva, patrullaban la jurisdicción en prevención de ilícitos.
Fue entonces cuando ambas recibieron una comunicación de la Central de Emergencias 911 dando cuenta que en French y Sarmiento había un menor convulsionando.
Las actuantes se dirigieron al dispensario del barrio y se entrevistan con la oficial Itatí Medina, quien se encontraba cumpliendo servicio de policía adicional, quien informó que poco antes había ingresado un menor de 2 años, junto a su progenitora.

Tras ser atendido por las enfermeras Evangelina Cardozo y Virginia Botgini se supo que la criatura saturaba a 100 y la frecuencia cardíaca era de 174 con dos convulsiones reiteradas.
Fue entonces cuando debido a la tardanza de la unidad sanitaria y ante el pedido de las enfermeras, las oficiales procedieron a trasladar al menor junto a su progenitora hasta el nuevo hospital Iturraspe.
Una vez en dicho nosocomio fue recibido por la médica pediatra de guardia quien informó que dicho niño convulsionó a raíz de un cuadro febril, encontrándose estable.
